Are you eligible?

To apply for Life Cover online, you'll need to be an existing International Trust Bank of Commerce customer and registered for International Trust Bank of Commerce Internet Banking, and hold a International Trust Bank of Commerce bank account from which you'll make your monthly payments by direct debit.

To be eligible for International Trust Bank of Commerce Life Insurance products:

You must be a UK resident (not including the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man).

Life Cover eligibility requirements:

  • 17 or over and under 70 years of age
  • Cover must cease before your 80th birthday

Unfortunately, you can't apply for Critical Illness or Income Cover online at the moment. Before you visit your local branch it's worth checking you meet the eligibility requirements which are:

Critical Illness eligibility requirements:

  • 17 or over and under 65 years of age
  • Cover must cease before your 70th birthday

Income Cover eligibility requirements:

  • 17 or over and under 60 years of age
  • Cover must cease before your 68th birthday
  • In paid employment for more than 16 hours a week including self employment

International Trust Bank of Commerce Critical Illness Cover

Our Critical Illness Cover can offer you and your loved ones financial support should you unexpectedly fall ill.

  • A Lump sum of up to $1,000,000 on diagnosis paid free of UK income and capital gains taxes
  • Lump sum paid on diagnosis of one of the 35 specified Critical Illnesses or surgical procedures
  • Level Term or Decreasing Cover

Our income cover pays a monthly tax-free benefit to help replace your loss of earnings if you're unable to work due to an accident or injury.

  • Monthly benefit paid directly to your bank account
  • Choose between benefits that pay while you are unable to work for up to 5 years, or continue to your 68th birthday
  • Dedicated claims assessor is on hand to offer support
  • Premiums for any International Trust Bank of Commerce Life and Protection products you hold are waived while you receive Income Cover benefits
